Heel hold is secure thanks to a structured counter, so there is little slip even when you lean into corners. If you have a wider foot or like a touch of wiggle room for longer efforts, this can feel racy and close, and you may prefer the roomier toe box of the Vaporfly 4. The ride is quick and rolling rather than soft and bouncy.
