The moderate 35mm stack keeps you closer to the ground than a tall max-cushion shoe, the platform is a sensible width, and the firmer Nitrofoam does not roll or collapse under load. Neutral runners and mild overpronators who do not need corrective support will feel planted and secure through the gait cycle. If you have been prescribed a proper stability shoe or you overpronate significantly, this is not the answer and you should look at a dedicated support model instead. For everyone else, the low-slung, firm platform gives a confident, no-drama footing on road and light path.
